John is currently the resident pianist at The Kensington Hotel, and can also regularly be heard at venues such as Kensington Palace, St. James' Palace, The Ritz, Claridge's, Somerset House, The British Museum, and innumerable others.

Clients have included BP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, PepsiCo Inc., Louis Vuitton, Christie’s, and guests have included Her Majesty The Queen and other members of The Royal Family (Epsom Derby Day ­ Queen’s Stand), HRH The Duke of York and Olympic gold medal winners (Olympic sponsors party), and George Osborne MP (Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition Preview Party).

Johns can provide background music in many styles such as: Jazz, Classic, Christmas, musicals and film themes and is also equally experienced and comfortable playing in people's front rooms for small parties and celebrations.
